In my experience many “healthy eating” plans fail for several reasons. Either you lack the support and encouragement needed to make sustainable changes, or the diets are too restrictive (and joyless!) to be practical in the long-term. To add to the problem, we are constantly bombarded with mixed messages about what being “healthy” should be, or the latest diet or superfood on the block. However, as every one of us is unique there is no such thing as a one-size-fits all solution. Trying to find what works for you can be time-consuming and frustrating, especially if you are not feeling on top of your game to start with.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. My mission is to help you discover those specific foods and nutrients that your body requires to work at its best. Foods that support your unique biochemistry, lifestyle demands and nutritional needs. I firmly believe that eating well should be about celebrating fresh, wholesome food. Food that you not only enjoy, but that truly nourishes your body from within, leaving you feeling happier, healthier and full of life.

They’re #glutenfree #dairyfree and #grainfree with just some natural sugars coming from #dates #maplesyrup - plus a good dose of #cacao

They’re mostly made from #almonds, hazelnuts and buckwheat, which contrary to the name is actually a seed rather than a grain. Along with the chia seeds this provides some nice fibre to support your #guthealth plus protein to help prevent any blood sugar rollercoasters. So, a little guilt-free treat to start the week. 🙌

  • Stress is pretty unavoidable - the key is to find ways to sure up your emotional and physical reserves so you are more resilient to handle that stress. As a Registered Nutritional Therapist, I’m a firm believer that eating well helps you feel good (big surprise, I know...). However it’s not just what you eat that’s important, but what you surround yourself with. For me, being in nature on a regular basis is a must - I literally feel like a weight is lifted when I’m around green space. If you can’t get outside, spending some time looking at beautiful and positive images that truly uplift you is a decent second best. Find what works for you - something that actually makes you smile / feel happy, and doesn’t leave you feeling anxious, guilty or with serious FOMO. Personally, while I love a picture of a fancy plate of food as much as the next gal, give me a 🌳 over an 🥑 any day 😊
